1960 Falcon
Hi, I’m new to all this & no American car expert;
i am Scottish & live in Edinburgh. 20 years ago i lived in Seattle WA, up on Queen Anne Hill, my partner at the time & myself managed to buy a red 1960 Ford Falcon which belonged to an old woman with very little mileage considering it's age (the car - not the woman); we paid 750 dollars i seem to remember. The interior had red bench seats (front & back) with a big white steering wheel; it also had the original (valve?) radio. We loved it. Some lucky person out there must be enjoying it now.http://rainierfalcons.com/forums/ima...ons/icon11.gif

Welcome!
Great to hear from a Falcon enthusiast from "over the pond"! I would HOPE someone is still enjoying your old beauty.
Anyone on the Forum have a red '60 that MIGHT be Ouikeith's old ride?
For clarification to everyone, the reference to "valve" is actually a vacuum tube. I had a boss once from Britain who had a electrical engineering professor at Oxford who INSISTED that vacuum tubes be referred to as "valves".
I still have the "valve" radio out of my '63, but the car itself now sports a stereo AM/FM cassette unit.
