lost my keys

Ok lost my keys.. at baseball practice..

Only set of keys...had to hotwire car to get it home...

Now that its home... how do you remove the ignition lock cylinder without the keys?

Take out the passenger side lock set and there should be a number on the backside that you can bring to a locksmith and get a key made.

At least that's what I've always heard...

This assumes the door key was the same as the ignition key, of course. :D

If you can pick locks (you learned that in basic auto shop, right? I know I did.) if you can stick a pin in the hole and pick the lock and get it to move to the left, once moving it will go all the way past accy. to extract.
