Gas Prices
Have the gasoline prices in Washington gone up because of the mess in Houston?
In Tampa, I bought gasoline for $2.10/gal on August 21.
The next day it went up to $2.40/gal.
I had thought it was because of the talk in the news about sending more troops to Afghanistan. It was actually because Hurricane Harvey was on its way.
When I bought gasoline yesterday on September 1, it cost $2.50/gal.
That was a bargain because some stations had raised their price to $2.70/gal.

We have one of the highest state gas taxes in the country - when I filled up my truck yesterday it was $2.75 with a 10 cent discount. We are always higher than many other states.
For the Falcon I always pay in the mid to high $3 range for ethanol free premium.
I want to say when we were in Jensen Beach the first week of August and it was around $2.35 from what I remember.
