Day trip to Honeymoon Island
The weather was pretty yesterday so we drove the Falcon to Honeymoon Island State Park. After leaving there we drove south to Clearwater Beach and were stuck in a huge traffic jam coming and going.
"The pioneers called it Hog Island, but it became Honeymoon Isle in 1939 when a New York developer built 50 palm - thatched bungalows for honeymooners. Today, visitors can drive across Dunedin Causeway to enjoy the sun - drenched Gulf beaches, mangrove swamps, and tidal flats." See: http://www.floridastateparks.org/honeymoonisland/

That is why Carol and I are leaving for Tucson on Saturday to get away from this cold weather. Be back in May, just too bad I can't take my car down there. Larry
