The floors aren't too bad on this car and not too difficult to repair, I'm more concerned about the frame, inside and out. I just don't have any experience doing that type of work.
i was wondering if there are any 15" steelies available that will support the "Dog Dish" style small round hub caps? The TCI front suspension/Disk brake system I'm installing on the car requires 15"...
Paint it Green!!! I love that old Machine Green color, I'm considering painting my car that color (if I paint it).
Enjoyed the story, good luck on the resto!
I recently finished a tech program and qualify for a one time 1/2 price tool order (up to $15K) from Snap-On, Matco, Mac, and Cornwell. I'm leaning toward Cornwell at the moment and will be placing...
I looked at the Heidts front end and it looks great, but might be a little outside my price range. Fortunately I won't have any time to work on the car until April so I don't need to make a decision...
The RRS set up looks great but also lots of $$$$. I'll look into the unisteer.
Most of the Mustang II sus. set ups come with a rack and pinion complete for about $2300.
I'd love to hear what...
Anyone here put rack & pinion and/or mustang II front suspension on their car?
I've driven plenty of original 60's cars so I know what they drive like, but never with an upgraded front end. Just...
So I just received all my new suspension parts today after scrapping the old stuff about 6 months ago. It appears I should have saved some hardware.
I think there is supposed to be a large cupped...
I'm in Seattle, so the guy in Sequim might be closer to you, I'm not sure.

Red Falcon,
I'd love to check out your car sometime! Mine has been in pieces for a while and I think that would be some helpful motivation.
I have the Schjeldahl book and it's been a great...
I've been away from the forum for a couple of years but am just now getting some time to work on the car (1962 coupe) again.
I have a request!!
I'm getting ready to start building a mild...
I have a Stock Exhaust manifold from a 170 (flat, not do-nut) you can have for $25. Assuming I can get the bolts out of the head.
Looking for some late 170 and 200 six engines.
170 Should be 65 and later with a 5/16" distributor drive
I need various years of 200's, mostly later models.
Also a 200 flywheel
running...
I'm putting disk breaks on the front so I will be using 14" or possible 15" wheels for the car, I haven't seen many wheels with a noticeable offset.
Hmmm....
Question #1
I'm rebuilding a 1962 coupe that originally came with 13" wheels. Although I'm sure the car was bone stock when I got it, the the wheels (mostly the front) appear to be inset from the...
I just bought a disk brake conversion kit for the front of my 1962, and it says I can use 14" wheels if they are pre-1964. I would rather use the 14" than 15's, so what is different about them? what...
