I have opportunity to buy a 1994 5.0 HO engine pulled from a mustang. I'm wondering if this would be a good prospect for transplant into my 63.

The 94-95 used a shorter water pump...

I did mount the wheel and did some measuring. Pretty sure I can fit a 205-70-14. The rear might be a fight to get on. Even at full droop there...

Just wondering, mine are 3-1/2". Hoping I can fit 205-70-14

Yup, pretty sad. I have been a supporter the last few years. There is a wealth of information about to be lost.

Yesterday I picked up a great deal on 2 sets of slotted wheels on Craigslist. One set are US indy 14x6 and the other is early American Racing 14x6 and 14x7 slotted.

I did a test fit this morning...

Yup these were a waste of money. They are the wrong size and way to stiff.

I'm doing the strut rod bushings on my 63 Falcon and bought the poly units. Made by enegry supension. They appear much longer than the stock ones.

I'm afraid that they will limit the adjustment...

Well you kinda need a tubing bender and flairing tool. I wish you lived closer I'd be happy to help you. Honestly a good set of ramps will get it high enough.

No Idea what a shop would charge.

My 63 had about 24" or so of flexible braded line from the hard lines to the radiator. When I swaped out the fordomtic for a C4 I ran new lines.

That is your starter, those lines are transmission cooling lines. And you can bet that you are not getting adequate flow. I would run a new one.

If it was me, I'd use a hydraulic throw out bearing and master cylinder.

I used that setup on a 240z I built with a small block and 5 speed. It worked out real well and the clutch pedal...

Was the hole right on the edge of the reinforced area like mine?

Most say it's worth while and had improved handling. But it could be that you wouldn't notice unless really pushing the car hard...

Well today I removed the upper control arms and drilled the pilot holes for the Shelby drop. One hole on each side would be right on the edge of the reinforced area.

Yes, you need a manual. There is one posted here http://www.tffn.net. it's a factory Ford manual. If your car is still stock all the specs are there.
