Didn't notice anybody ask, what shape are the taillight lenses in?
Just put a Ron Francis kit in the 65 Ranchero. Didn't do it myself, a friend who has quite alot of experience with that sort of thing helped me out. Took him a good 3 days to do it, but the result...
Steve,
I am sending the switch to Larry as I offered it to him first. What parts are you not able to get for the intermittent swap? I picked up all the required parts at the local pick n pull here,...
I will get it in the mail Monday morning.
Have you tried Rockauto? Is that a single speed wiper switch? If so, I replaced mine with a 2 speed w/intermittent, and still have the old switch, it's yours for postage.

Wow, don't know where my heads at. Was thinking the swap meet was this month :D. Nothing to see here, move along.

Jeff and Roger,
That sound you heard earlier today was my palm connecting with my face. During the tear down, I had Ziploc bagged and labeled all the parts/fasteners/clips/etc. as well as separating...
When are we going to start collecting the stuff for the swap meet? I have a bit of stuff to sell;
rear end from a 65 I6 Ranchero
almost complete 4 lug front end from same
almost complete 5 lug...
I agree Roger, had to look thru about a dozen F-series to find a wiper switch with the intermittent module. Most of them had the switch, but the module was gone. Found plenty of 2 speed motors. Also...
Couple of quick questions;
The steering wheel on my 65 Ranchero is, I think, beyond hope. I want to keep the steering wheel as stock looking as possible, mainly because I haven't found an...
I'm doing the intermittent switch on the 65 Ranchero. I will let you know how it goes. Looks pretty straight forward, I got all the parts from a local u pull it for less than $25.

Thanks for the info everybody. I did find the company that makes the small booster that Patrick was talking about. They are ABS Power Brake Inc. They make a 6" booster and also a m/c for the Falcon,...
I replaced my drum brakes with a set of rotors and discs from a 76 Maverick. The master cylinder and booster were included with the rotors. My questions are; do I need to use the booster? I'm asking...
Thanks Nathan,
I made the mistake of assuming when talking to Dearborn. Should of done some digging.

I am putting a C4 behind the 289 that replaced the 200 in the Ranchero. I was told by someone at Dearborn Classics that I would need a column shift control selector insert and that they were no...
I have all the parts to rebuild the wing windows on the Ranchero. However, I have never done this. My thought was, if there is anyone who had done this and would be willing to help, document it with...
Cancel that. Found some.
I am in need of a set of gauges from a 65 Falcon. Speedo, fuel and temp. Anybody have some lying around they would be willing to sell?
Thanks
Troy
Thanks Roger
That does make sense now. The guy doing the bodywork was just a little surprised that the holes were that large.
I know exactly what you mean about the star washers gouging up the...
Some pics of the rotisserie I built last summer. The stretcher between the front and back is 12 1/2 feet. The connection points are the bumper hangars front and rear.
So I and my bodyman are test fitting the fenders and doors after priming. And neither one of us can figure why there are such large holes on the front of the fender where it mounts to the radiator...
If it is decided the club does not want it, I would sell it for what I have into for the steel.
Troy
I'll get right on that Jeff!
Yes it does break down, the largest piece is the stretcher from the front to back. Don't remember off the top of my head what that dimension is. I am heading out to the shop later this morning, I...

Thanks Gene and Roger, was trying to mount them inside the radiator support. Sanity (such that it was) has been restored.
