I have had cars with headers and all I ever used was lock tight, with no issues.

The cable that I have would be more trouble than it's worth. I think you would be better off to fabricate one. That way you can use his peddle. It was nice to meet you guys.

Did you check your firing order? With all else you've done, it's just a thought. Crossed plug wire is easy to do.
