    gasser ranchero

    nothing to extreme but solid axle and a 302. opinions?
    63 ford ranchero. rebuilt 68 200 rebuilt c4 electronic ignition intermittent wipers

    I pulled the engine/tranny out of my `62 this morning (Thanks Pat & Jeff!) and my neighbor stopped by and commented that it looks like a gasser. It's sitting pretty high up front. I told him I usually see square bodies as gassers.

    I like the look but don't think my 200 six could live up to it!

    There's a round-body Ranchero that makes some of the north-end cruises and shows that is a straight axle gasser-looking thing. Looks pretty interesting. Gassers are getting popular again.
