I plan to be there, but I'll be in my other Ford (Ranger), unless the Stork makes an appearance at my daughter's house.

Giving this a tickle in hopes of a good turn out

I did notice the FCA website is a bit vague about when out meetings are - posted below:

"Meeting: Bi-Monthly Jan. – Nov. University Burgermaster 3040 NE 45th St. 7:00 PM."

It neglects to say "3rd Wednesday" - do we know how to get that fixed?

Forgot to disconnect the battery in the Ranchero, so it was dead this morning. So no Falcon for me tonight.

I clearly need to trace that battery drain...

I can contact them should we decide to maintain this schedule going forward.

Only 3 of us were at the meeting last night. This trend in attendance (or lack thereof) makes it near a waste of time for those of us who come - at least as it relates to furthering club activities.

I think it is time (again) for the club to decide where we are going, whether we are to remain a club in its present form, or move to some other format.

Of course, it was good to see Gene and Jeff, but we could not do much more than chat a bit and go kick Jeff's tires. And now knowing the tires are nearing 25 years old, we should have been more gentle.

Any suggestions or comments about this quandary are welcomed.

    July 20 - Club meeting

Really sorry Carol and I couldn't make it. To much head pain to leave the house.
Also, what is going on with batteries. My Optima battery just went belly up and ordered a new one. Should be here tomorrow.
Also, had an interesting day. Was up cleaning out the gutters on my new garage and installing gutter screens. A large limb on the neighbor tree was poking me in the back so reached around to cut it off. Next thing, I fell the 16 feet, bent my aluminum ladder into a pretzel, landed flat on my back. Took a while to stop seeing stars and get my breath back.

bruised, scraped, head really took a hit, right leg is very sore,(that's the leg I almost lost in motorcycle hill climbing), cut on hand. Other than that, no broken bones, so no problems.
Now wish I wouldn't have built my garage so high to get the lift in it. Oh well.
Again. Sorry we couldn't make it to the meeting. Larry

Larry, Hope you are feeling better. I think we're all getting too old to deal with that sort of incident. And also sad to hear the head pains have returned. I was somewhere under the impression they had gone away, but perhaps I misunderstood.

Feeling better each day. Bruising on right leg from hip to above ankle. Left knee is bruised on back of leg and very sore at joint. That leg worries me because I almost lost it once. Banged my head hard on the ground, but Carol said I probably didn't hurt myself since I landed on my head.
Just going to take some time. My headaches are not as severe as the cluster headaches that I was going through. Just bad migraine types now I think. Maybe hitting my head will help. Larry
