I don't have a V-8 one but I will certainly save the one that is in the front half of the parts car. I will keep my eyes open for a V-8 one too...

    Steve,

I'm thinking to take a trip over there next weekend (this weekend is work ) so we can do a little more hacking on what's there.

Cool; I will have the sanding blocks ready.

Funny one Steve. Four hours of driving time -- may get a few inches sanded for you. Or maybe I can just stand back and say -- "Hey, you missed a spot."

Bought a pedal assembly clutch zbar and pivots from a 63 futura that was at the wrecking yard today.
I also snagged the heater box and turn signal switch.

It has a good pass fender, the futura dash trim, the padded dash trim, two back doors.

    I also found a 65 v8 fairlane.
Itwas complete from carb to oil pan. Fan to rear diff. If anyone wanted to swap to a vi car this. Car has everything you need. Its a 289 car with a cruiseomatic. Anyone looking for a 5 bolt bell or complete tranny? Pullnsave in spokane wa has one.

I want to go back for the engine mounts if they will work in a falcon. I also want the driver side exhaust manifold..

What are Mustang parts but Falcon parts in disguise? I just bought a whole pile of things from NPD Mustang catalog for the Ranchero. I'll make them fit by golly!

What is Futura dash trim? Is this hardtop only stuff? -- OH, how could it be with back doors. Duh. Don't let it get away. Somebody here might buy it from you. Pictures maybe?

Yeah... or maybe "this" will be the last post.

It's sad to realize that the reality was the Ranchero we hacked to pieces was the "better of the two" when it came right down to it. But, the important thing I have to realize is I still could only have made only one good one from the two.

I brought the entire cowl and dash home this weekend from this gray car. The cowl is in really pretty decent shape. I wish (and I have not ruled it out yet) I could take the entire cowl - complete with dash - and swap the two without drilling 500 spot welds. I'll be looking closely at this very soon..
