I'm wondering if a front bumper from a 60-61 will fit correctly on a 63. Someone must have tried or done this swap as it gives a different look. Thanks.

The operative here is "correctly." I think you can get it to fit since the frame rail width isn't different, but I know the front valance is different. I tried to find a picture of one done that way and have so far come up dry.

OK Thanks Roger. I have access to a 60 wagon so maybe I will make a trip and look at it closely and see if the valance can be modified along with the bumper to fit my 63.If I do this swap I will report back with pictures. Thanks
This just popped up on Facebook and I couldn't help but laugh. It's the early (60/61) bumper on a 62. 62 and 63 use the same valance, just different shape grille. I know, not a technically accurate "yes this will work" sort of display, but still found it funny considering its current relevance.

That's funny Roger.....I don't think it will fit my application though.....
