Ok here's the deal. My wife Laurie is requesting some Krispy Kreme glazed donuts. No sprinkles, no chocolate, no filling, simple glaze.
In return she will be preparing another fantastic lunch for us. I can't tell you what but trust me it will be worth the trip by itself.
So please please please someone bring her a box of glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Thanks you.

May miss the 7:50 ferry for this or they will be 12 hours old. Whichever, we will have them.

Well it sounds like there's no need for me to bring pastries. I may just send Miles ahead and come by later because I work till 11:30 P.M.(Friday)And don't get to sleep till about 1:30 A.M. I'm worthless if I get less than 6 hours of sleep! My hubby is going shopping at Sequim so he could drop me off. We'll see.
You can still bring pastries if you like, I'm simply relaying a request from my wife for a craving she has. If there happens to be enough for everyone great if not they have to fight Laurie for them.

Ok I will...maybe something healthy like some bananas too.
Dang and I always thought Mt. Dew and a Twinkie was a healthy breakfast?

No worries Steve, they are. See you in the A.M.
I'm not going to be able to make this one. Sorry all. I'll try harder next time.

Roger, Gene, Bill, thank you for making the trip over and Laurie thanks you for the Krispy Kreme.
Gina, and her son MILES, ( haha got it right) were here as well.
The engine is done and installed running well but seemed to be having a carb issue. Down on power so well have to keep the car here for a few more days. I got side tracked replacing a heater core on a ford ranger (PIA). And I welded in a new inner front quarter around the battery tray in a 65 mustang. When I got all that done I helped out on the comet.
My wife Laurie made another fantastic lunch. We had pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, potatoe salad, baked beans, and chips and vegetables with dip. A cooler full of sodas and we were set. I guess we're like our cars, food liquids and air and we ran all day.
I didn't get any pics as busy as I was but I know some were taken so hopefully they will get put up here.
Anyways I took the guys for a quick spin in the delivery said our good byes and called it a night. We wrapped up about 9pm. We're all tired and wore out but got a lot done. Thanks again everyone.

Sounds like a fun and productive day. One of these times I would love to get over there.. at least for all that great food!

Pictures of Comet transplant?
Steve's recap of the day were spot on. Gene sent me pictures and I tried with expert help to post them all on one thread with no success. I know it's possible because our friend with the Wonder Falcon recently did it. So to solve it I made an album, go to my public profile then click on album??? Hope it works.
