weight on rear axle
I'm working on putting a 4 link in my64. Has anyone weighed there car or know what the weight distribution is for the Falcon's. It's a Futura 2 door hardtop, v8/auto, 9" rear.

Weight distribution
Quote:
The best that I was able to determine was: Curb weight of a 1963 260 V-8 Hardtop with a bench seat = 2,880 lbs. Weight distribution 55/45% or 1584/1296 lbs (front/rear). Thanks, Dennis. Other 1963 weights: The 2-door Futura weighs 2,425 lb. The 170 convertible weighs 2,765 lbs. The base Hardtop weighs 2,565 lbs. The 260 V-8 Convertible weighs 3,046 lbs (166 lbs heavier than the hardtop). Bucket seats and a console weigh 35 lbs more than the bench seat. The Ford-O-Matic aluminum-case two-speed automatic transmission weighs 108 lbs without the 7.5-qts fluid or torque converter.
