New turn signal switch
The cancel on my right turn signal quit working. I ordered a new switch off e-bay and installed it today. I took off the steering wheel and confirmed that the old part (installed in 2012, darn it) was broken.
IMG_0347.jpg I tried pushing the wires on the new part down the steering column without much success. I then plugged the wire terminals into a 2 1/2-foot length of plastic water-supply hose for an ice maker and then pushed the hose down the steering column and then through the insulation sleeve. It worked great! ![]() IMG_0350.jpg IMG_0351.jpg I tested the parking lights, backup lights, brake lights and turn signals and horn and they all worked. Yaaaaay!
