    Fuel Injection vs Carberation??

So I am looking for opinions and advise here.. I have a complete 88 Mark VII engine with the fuel injection, computer and harness. I know how to put it in and wire it so that is not an issue. My thoughts for the delivery was to build a 347 striker motor and do some kind of multi-carb setup. IE 3 2's or 2 4's?? Or maybe a hilbourne style injection setup some day.
So should I go through the trouble of the current injection, or swap it to carb set up and wait till I am ready for whatever I end up with in the end?? Would like to hear any pro's and con's you guys can think of. I need to set the motor back in the car soon and need to plan it out now before paint.. Thanks for the help Steve...

I would start with what you have but would change the computer out to a MegaSquirt 2 setup. This will get your feet wet with all things EFI before installing this:

The stock stuff is okay if you don't really have an interest in learning how EFI works. The MegaSquirt stuff is a great platform and is cheap.

That is exactly what I want in the car. I love the look of that set-up. I will look at the mega squirt stuff. I am pretty familiar with the fuel injection, I put this same stuff in my 72 Bronco I had. Loved the reliability. Thanks for the input.

Yes it can. There is even support for the factory knock sensor and mass-air sensor.
