Painting bolts and screws, and Mylar washers for them??

Used Rustico to derust some bolts and screws, and planning to paint them.
I think someone in the club mentioned using some thin plastic, maybe Mylar washers for non critical applications to keep scratches and rust away. I've seen these before, but I haven't been able to find these anywhere online.
Anyone know where to find an assorted set of these thin plastic washers?
    Thanks in advance..

Check in a 'good' hardware store that has a large selection of fasteners. Our local Ace has them.

You should be able to get them at Tacoma Screw or Stone Way Hardware.

McLendon's hardware has a great selection nuts, bolts, washers and just about everything else.
