I have a bench seat from a '65 Ranchero for sale. It is rebuilt by a shop in Snohomish and a two-tone blue seat cover from Dearborn Classics installed by them also. Will post pics if interested.

A month or so ago I made a trip to the local wrecking yard and, with Roger's help, I found and bought bucket seats from a '96 Lexus for my Ranchero. I finally got them installed today. I'm very pleased with how they look and feel. Here's a couple pics.

You may have the comfiest Falcon in the club! Lookin' good. How was the install? Just drill some new holes and bolt it in?

Those do look nice. Are you able to use the belts?

The installation wasn't real easy. I do have to get the power to the drivers seat hooked up and a couple minor wrinkles taken care of. Some mounts had to be fabricated. I'm no welder, but Mr. Moore loaned me his welder and my daughter's boyfriend did the welding for me. I did get the associated 3-point seat belts and intend to use them, but as you've discovered, Jeff, some welding needs to be done, and as I said, "I'm no welder". So.... on to the front suspension and brake project, and I'll use the 2-point belts until.....

Very nice Gene. You do good work.

His 3-point belts will require the same modifications I did to my Ranchero, but the parts we got with these seats look easier to deal with than the Ranger setup I put in mine. So it should be (knowing what I know now) an easy Saturday project.

Final work is done on the new buckets. Had to do a little re-aligning so the drivers side wasn't turned toward the center. Did the final electrical connections and ........ WOW, are they comfy! Wanted to go for a drive but Mr. Weatherman has put the kabosh on that. Have to save it for a later time.

Aww, come on. You can risk a little rain to rinse the dust off. Can't wait to see it in person. Next we need to do the seat-belts.

I try to take the "fair weather driver" part seriously. The "seat belt installation" part of my garage door will be permanently available to you. I like your 3-points.
