1963 Falcon Futura Hardtop with 260

Raven Black 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Hardtop with a 164-HP Challenger 260 V8 with a bench seat and a Fordomatic automatic transmission. The car was manufactured on July 22, 1963, in Lorain, OH, and delivered to Jacksonville, Florida. VIN # 3H17F247103. It now resides in Tampa, Florida in a loving home.

There were 17,524 Futura Hardtops with bench seats (series 17, model 63B) produced in 1963. Curb weight of the V8 version = 2980 lbs, Wheel base = 109.5 in. Length = 181.1 in. Height = 53.8 in. Top of door = 37 in. Challenger 260 in3 V8 (4.3 L), weight = 482 lbs. 164 hp @ 4400 rpm, 258 lbs torque @ 2200 rpm, 10-inch brake drums, Rear axle ratio = 3.25:1, 17-inch steering wheel, 38.8 ft turning radius.

1963 was a very good year for Ford. Especially for the Falcon! Very nice car there.
