Adult soapbox derby

We have an annual event here in Portland with really ingenious & hilarious derby cars. Full range of designs from sleek to ridiculous, most likely fueled by adult beverages. Any other cities host one of these?

Adult soapbox derby

Nothing like that around my neck of the woods. Boy, that would be fun and I could use fiberglass that I have left over. Larry

I think a yellow '64 Falcon soapbox would be COOL, Larry. Want some help? Maybe a project for Rainier Falcons?
A quick google search turned up at least one other event. Someplace called Marble Falls (Texas?).

That does look like fun! The Flintstones car was awesome!

Rainier Falcon club entry? Maybe and if after we see all of our cars done and fully driveable.
