Hi Phila,
Welcome! Nice looking Falcons! We have a guy in the area from Austrailia who shows up to local Ford shows occasionally with his Aussie birds.

welcome to the forum
hi ... thanks for the welcome
yes the XW front is pretty good. its an aggressive look. I think its the best looking of the Aussie falcons of that body shape. Some people in Australia who have imported the U.S. coupes to Australia have put XW fronts on them... the job is significant, as the guards hood and other items all have to be changed as well as the stone tray and grille.
Hi All
Just thought I'd post an update ... just had the suspension redone. New shocks all round, new fron springs and reset the rear leaves. I also had an extra leaf added to the rears to suit Australian road conditions. The Coupe is slightly lower in the front now. See the link below

Ditto!!
I'll introduce myself:
My name is Jim Grimes and I've had my Falcon Sprint for almost 30 years. It was my daily driver for 10 years after I gave it a mild restoration in 1981. After moving from California to Washington in 1992 it has spent most of it's time taking up space in my garage, I intend to change this. I've had 5 other Falcons-3 Rancheros, a 63 Futura Convertible and another 64 Sprint convertible. There's just something about Falcons. My daughter and niece both want this car and my wife really would't be upset to see it go-but I'm hanging on.
