Well, got it home with out any problems at all. The "wheeled apparatus" I designed in order to get the front end on some kind of tires worked like a champ too.

The entire car was covered in grime, so we stopped at the local car wash. Got some of it off but ended up re-scrubbing it at home. The dirty side of the hood is after the car wash, the clean side is after the home wash.

2 pieces of 2"x3" {3/16 wall} welded vertically to the front frame rails. 2"x5" {3/16 wall} welded horizontally to the 2x3's and uni-directional 450lb rated industrial pneumatic casters bolted to the ends with grade 8 bolts, washers and nuts.

All in all, well worth the $100 I paid for it.

It did cost some coin to get it home:
$100 ferry costs
$200 truck/trailer rental
$100 for the casters
$55 for the steel
$45 for the gas
Ah well, it's only money after all. Can't take it with us when we go ya know. LOL.

I gave 1 of the club cards to the guy I bought it from and he said he registered on the site {bffalcon}. His name is Jared Smith and he's got a real nice '62 with a 331 stroker {right up Patricks ally with that one} that he's almost done with. I hope he posts up and adds some pics of it as he does real nice work. Young guy too, I think 22?. Nice to see yet another young dude liking the Falcons. Jon
