    Spiders in your jack stands?

I know, weird post, but as I was searching for some files on my computer today I ran across this image I took of my jack stands (taken in 2006). I thought it might help just that one person who needs this sort of help.

Up here in the rural part of the city we get a lot of spiders and for whatever reason they always seemed to love the dark cavity of my jack stands. There were always bug carcasses under the jack stands too. Being the arachnophobe, as I am, I decided to make it impossible to have one of the critters come crawling out while I was laying under a jacked up car setting the stand height.

Purely a safety issue, nothing else.

Expanding foam insulation! When I saw the title of the post I was thinking...April Fool! Good idea though.
