The Ranchero made it to the Medford Cruise...

Well, I got her done in time for the cruise, had lots of fun and even started driving it around town for fun again. I went with a similar color as the first time I restored it 20+ years ago but went with the Duplicolor Paint shop paint since this was a budget rebuild... I decided to try to go off the wall and went with the lime green 15" steelies with 40 Ford hubcaps and painted the grille to match.

I know the style isn't for everyone but tell me what you think. I will try to get some more pics loaded soon.

The green is nothing I would have ever thought of but it's a nice touch! And I'm diggin' the `40 caps! For some reason George Barris came to mind. Or Moon.

Can you post a close-up of them and a shot of the grille?

I like it. Especialy since I just painted mine like that. I was thinking of going with red wheels and caps?? I like the green, nice touch now if we ever park together we can tell them apart.
