HOT ROD - High Horsepower Falcons

Check out this cover! The magazine (May 1960) is on sale on ebay but I want to know:

    1) What is going on with the carburetor(s) and generator (is a a magneto?) on the red block

    2) How do the mechanics keep their pants so white?

    3) Is that Pat's car?

Yep - Mechanical fuel injection needs a mechanical pump. I like the supercharger myself, but they don't show it shoved under the hood. Or the 6 pipes of the red one under the car.

Bleach or Photoshop, but I guess in 1960 - Bleach. Plus it is a brand new car - not greasy yet.

    Pat's is a 62

Nice spot Gene. I hope it's actually a stud that goes to the valve cover hold down bolt, but still?
