    pulling out engine

Hi, I´m trying to pull my engine (not tranny) out of my 62 wagon but I have not really done this before so I just wonder if there is someting I have to think about when I separate the engine from the tranny?

Is it a manual or automatic?

For a manual, you just need to pull it forward enough to clear the input shaft of the tranny.

For the auto, you'll need to remove the inspection plate from the tranny. Then remove the bolts holding the converter to the flexplate.

You will need to pull the radiator either way to have enough room. Attach a chain to the front and rear head bolt and lift from the center.
