Thread: Need a 250 Flywheel

I'm agreeing with you there.. so e-bay here comes another d1ta-6394-aa..
If I could find a 250 bell I'd be all over it like stink on ****.. I'll keep searching..

Thanks for the Ford six link.. looks like Daze cars might have some info on hydraulic clutch stuff..
Bruce at Modern driveline is a great guy.. I'll be buying an adapter from him and selling the one I no longer need.. I have a t-5 adapter for the small 2.77 bell for sale in the near future..

Well I have no work tomorrow so maybe a junkyard crwal is in order.. nobody ever wants the 6 cylinder stuff maybe I'll get lucky and there will be a fresh maverick out there with a 250 and a 3.03 trans..

A four speed manual 289/302/351 car would work to. It's probably the same bell.

    Good luck on the search.

    I've been told that a p/n c5aa-6394-b will work..
Basiclly any 157 or 10" 6bolt bell will work..

I need to have a garage sale.. too many falcon parts..

When is the monroe swap meet?? Roger... I have another 2.77 tranny for you

I'll just keep searching and investigate the hydraulic set up..

    Thanks for the help pat..

You'd get a kick out of this engine if I ever put the 3 dueces on it..

Well I thought I found gold only to get home and find out that I'm one part number off.. I found a C5TA-6394-A which is from a Truck with a 302..(needs to be c5aa-6394-a)
I pulled the bell and counted the flywheel teeth and it has 164 teeth..
I bought it anyways because maybe it will still work and it will but I have to go with the bigger flywheel and might have firewall issues..

So my search continues... and somebody said the bells for the 164 tooth flywheel is rare.. B.S. I have two now..

Yeah if you add the 2.77 bell I have and the c-4 bell
I really do have a collection.. The c-4 was orginally behind the 250ci..

So I have a C-4 trans and another 2.77 trans laying around..
I also have an orginal 64 falcon six cylinder rear and a 8" rear from a 65 comet..

Plus two complete front ends one six and one v-8...

I'm collecting falcon parts... Next years swap meet should be good for you guys..
