    4B carb

    Hello falcon friends,

Does anyone know where I can find a new or rebuilt 4 barrel carburator for a 289 in or around Seattle? I found a few websites like Carburator exchange. Any recommendations would be grately appreciated. thank you.

Are you looking for an original Autolite or will anything do?

I would prefer an autolite but something comprable around 450-550 CFM would work. What did you have in mind?

I was thinking that the smaller sized Road Demon with vacuum secondaries would work well. You can order a refurb unit from Jegs.

I have this same carburator and was very pleased with it. In terms of power, efficiency, idle quality, and reliability this was better than it's Holley and Edelbrock counterparts. I have no experience with the Demon product. The Autolite may limit you on intake manifold selection.
