    wiper help

    Hey guys.

I was tinkering on the 63.5 sprint today. I stepped on the washer pump pedal and the wipers activated. I thought how cool.. so I played with it again.. bad idea.

The wipers are now parked straight up and down. Wont return to rest.

I have 2 speed electric wipers with foot pump that I just removed the foot pump and still no luck.

I think I have a power supply issue but I had to put the car away.

    Any ideas?

What was the issue? I haven't looked into mine yet but it was only making a 1/2 sweep last time I used it.

They quit working after playing with the foot washer pump and parked in the middle of the windshield.

Theres not much in the manuals on electric wipers, but i found enough to start testing theories.

Turns out my circuit break went bad.. probably because the foot pump switch was bad.
Wires were melted and one wire fell out of the switch once i removed the pump

If you still have vacuum wipers check the park adjustment screw on the wiper motor. Maybe its causing a limitation on travel
