    Worn Shocks?

    Here's a little video clip of the shocks from the banana Ranchero. I guess the question was: Would I want to drive this car, with these shocks, to New York?

    OMG !!!! Did not know they were that bad.. Is that why it road low like it did?? Or are the springs that bad as well???

    Shocks won't make it ride lower, but it would let it "get lower" under the right circumstances. They were both the same. And the rear air shocks had a broken line and they were collapsed too. In essence, the car had no shocks. Should be significantly better shortly.

    That was Gene demonstrating it - and he may be bionic.

    Wow, I don't think I've seen one fail that much! I guess when we pulled over on the way home I never thought to see how the suspension bounced (or didn't). Not that here's really a quick fix but...
