    Wiper troubles

Before I tear in to this I thought I would see if anyone has some thoughts. On the way to the cruise-in at Shilshole my wipers would only go about 2/3 up and then back down. They would do this over and over but only go about 2/3 of the full stroke each time.

I've never looked at the wiper system before other than a casual glance while working under the dash. What should I look for and if I drop it, should I gather some parts to rebuild? I have the 2-speed electric wipers.

I don't really want to put in the intermittent wiper conversion. The 2-speed stock is good enough for me.

Is there any new noise when the wipers are on? I'm guessing that the arm on the motor has come loose. Look inder the dash with the wipers on and you'll probably see the problem right away. It's a simple system.

I'm sure it is somehow related to the previous owner. I would ask for your money back.

Regardless, do the 2-speed update. That's an hour to do at most.

FWIW I did the intermittent setup on the Flarechero and to put the intermittent switch in the stock location was tight. I had to massage the DS of the column/pedal brace to make it fit. But it is a nice add for those intermittent days we have here.

It already has the 2-speed. This weekend I will look into it and see what I can see! Better do my stretches first. Always fun working under the dash...
