My Falcon will be "Cool Ride of the Week"

My insurance company sent me a letter saying that they have selected my 1963 Hardtop to be their "Cool Ride of the Week". A photo of my Falcon will be shown on their web site for the week starting this Monday, 11/18/13, beginning after 12:00 pm, Eastern Time.

It can be seen at www.AmericanCollectors.com/Collector-Chronicals/33/

It reminds me of the song "On the Cover of the Rolling Stone".

Vote for The Wonder Falcon!

I received this e-mailed note from my insurance company:

Hello,

Last year, your collector vehicle was featured as a Cool Ride of the Week. Now it can take home an even higher honor as the Coolest Ride of 2013!

We are leaving the voting up to our fans on Facebook. They can vote for as many classics as they like. All anyone has to do to vote is Like our page and then ‘Like’ any photos in the album they think are deserving of being the Coolest Ride of the Year. The photo with the most votes wins! Click here for the link to the photo album.

We are encouraging each of our participants to share this information with their family, friends, forum members, clubs, and more. Just forward this information and they can vote for you today. The contest ends February 14.

I don't have a Facebook account, but added my "like" using my wife's account.

My Falcon will be "Cool Car of the Week"

I got my car insurance through the Heacock Insurance co. I found their ad in Street Rodder. I was pleased with everything they covered in comparison to others and especially their price. I pay $252 year for $30,000 in coverage. I have to keep it garaged and don't drive it daily. Larry

But dang...that `92 Miata has 63 likes! Don't know why. Nothing special, that's for sure.
