gas milage ?

Hey kenny ..what kind of milage do you get with your falcon after all the tricks you have done to it ? or are you like me and not really sure..I think I can get over 20 on the freeway...2600 rpm @ 60

Hey John,

I think I'm getting 18-20 around town right now but haven't checked it in awhile. I'll keep close track on the trip to Salem in August. Last time I went on a long road trip was driving to San Ramon and I had my 7.25" (3.5) rear end in on that trip. I have my new 8" (2.79) in so at 60 mph I was running 3,450 rpm and now I'm at 2,700 rpm. A 22% decrease in rpm should help out quite a bit on the highway!

Lord knows I'll need it with the liquid gold we put in our tanks these days...

Have you guys considered a 5 speed? I found a guy who was selling a 62 with a 302 and a t5 with a 8" rear, and he claimed he got 20mpg in town. I wonder what kind of mileage you get with a 200ci.
