I know, it sounds like we're a bunch of purists here -- because we are!

    Not really...

It is as John says that many people go with Chevy motors because they are far cheaper and easier to build-up than a Ford motor... but there is just something that makes a die-hard Ford guy cringe when they look under the hood of a cool old Ford and see Chevrolet plastered on the motor. But to each their own. We welcome the car and owner -- motor and all.

And...what do "Chevy guys" think about having a Ford body/frame powered by a Chevy engine?

well i'm a real ford guy, my father worked at ford motor co. for 33 years so fords are not new to me. reason for the chevy motor is my nephew runs chevy motors in his late model dirt car so chevy motors are all over the place at his race shop ( pro auto) in eugene or. its a money thing so take it easy on me......danny

    Chevy with a Ford Motor?

At a show in Enumclaw several years ago, I saw a '59 Chevy with 460 Ford motor in it!

    Now that was different....
