    plastic welder

Has anyone ever used a plastic welder?

I visited Harbor Freight Tools today and looked at the plastic welder as maybe a means of fixing my plastic seat shields..

Another question is what kind of plastic are the seat shields? The repops are ABS plastic but I think the old ones are a Vinyl plastic of some sort..

I had one when I was about 10. I remember it was with a toy for building skyscrapers with plastic I beams. Now those were good times.

ok now you are going to make me google spin welder...

I bought a package of permatex plastic weld and so far it looks to be working.. so maybe I'll skip the plastic welder...

all that is left is a little sanding and some paint..
