Does anyone know of a metal fab supply place open on weekends?

Sometimes I forget that as our technology advances former methods are still more effective. I called Pac Iron and their website only shows recycling hours, their supply side is open until 5pm on Saturday.

I was in need of some Aluminum sheets, I found them!

Online metals is only open M-F and has a 6 hour turnaround on orders. They are great if you plan ahead, but not for last minute needs.

I went to Pacific Iron at the Doorstore on 4th Ave in SoDo, pretty cool place. You are limited to what they have in from recycling but I was able to find everything I needed and it was cheaper. They also cut material for you on the spot. All material is priced by the pound.

I usually just show up and browse the racks. They are good about letting people wander.

Agreed, if it is on a weekday before 5pm. If you get stuck on a Saturday and need some material the big box guys don't carry the Doorstore is open 9-5.
