    how to recognise gearbox?Year 1965.,200CI,column mounted changer,all original on car.Did have any sign or number?

    automatic,VIN 5HO1T244321 if is important.

    It is most likely a C4 three speed auth (Green Dot). 65 was the first year for the C4. The earlier Falcons came with the two speed Ford-o-Matic.

    Yes, my Motor's Manual shows the C4, model PCS-G, is the tranny installed in the '65 Falcon with the 200 I-6. There is a tag on the "low-reverse servo cover bolt" that has the model number on it. The low-reverse servo cover is round in shape, on the left side of the transmission, aft of the control levers.

    Thank you from other side of Earth!I don"t have a clue how to drive my Falcon.I live in big town with many uphills so can i change D to L or opposite in driving?My carb is Weber 34 from Fiat and his performance are minor.
    To understanding situation,it is driving across San Francisco!
