    Parking and Tail light repair

Hi All, While doing some cleaning re-installation and installation of Tail light buckets, lenses and Parking lights. Thanks, Roger and Gene for the lens and buckets. I found these repair contacts at Autozone, I used them on the front parking/turn signals, which were pretty much rotted away, gave them a good cleaning added a little electrical grease and they work great now. I tried Jerry rigging them a few different ways (unsuccessfully) I just happened to be at Autozone and ran into these. Not sure if the back buckets use the same contact. Anyway may save someone else the headaches I endured.
You do have to cut away the old rubber wire protective sleeve off the back of the housing, so if you have a stock resto in mind, (unlike mine), you may have to find NOS or pay the $59ea for complete replacement housings. Left a couple pic's

That is a good recommendation. I didn't know such a thing was available.

Are you converting that Ranchero to electric drive? That is quite a collection of batteries

I like your garage - nice to have the space to stretch out.
