Motor For Sale

So im officially selling a 170ci straight six motor along with a three speed transmission. The engine has 110,000 miles on it but was rebuilt about 45,000 miles ago. It runs smoothly without any problems. The only reason I am replacing it is put a 200 with an automatic tranny in. The pictures below tell most of the story but it includes a custom Ford red spider web design, a freshly painted valve cover, and a good looking air cleaner. If you or anybody you know is interested tell them to drop by my house at 9/25/10 in order to hear it running. Unless I hear from somebody by Saturday I am replacing it and will have to sell it without showing you that it runs.

Dalton,
Are you staying with a manual trans or are you going automatic? I am looking for parts to change from auto (C-4) to 4 or 5 speed manual. If anyone out there has a lead on clutch pedal, linkage and other parts (bell housing, clutch,trans) let me know.

Im going automatic with the C4 so I may be needing the same sort of parts as you. I dont know if I need to change the driveline or something like that.

hey, stumbled across this on CL i could really use that engine. my 200 up and quit, and i need something to get me by until i get the time and money to rebuild my original engine. my name is Jason and ill be giving you a call tomorrow, sat. i trust you that it is a runner.
