Favorite Classic Car Links
Other than Falcon sites on the web, do you have any favorite places you visit regularly? Not only web sites but also blogs, podcasts, forums, etc.
One of my regulars is "Just A Car Guy". He has links to a lot of other blogs, mostly car and mostly vintage but you never know. http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/ Another is "Old Parked Cars". A couple of guys take pictures of old cars they find parked around the city. From the most common to high-end. http://www.oldparkedcars.com/ And last is "Shorpy". His tagline is "Always Something Interesting". This isn't really a car-only blog but he does have a car section. You'll find a link to the cars & trucks photo gallery along the right side of the page. And make sure to click on the smaller photo to get the full size, high res image. http://www.shorpy.com/ Add anything you like and talk amongst yourselves!

Another cool website I frequent is Barn Finds:
http://www.barnfinds.com/ And most of the cars they post about are actually for sale at the moment.

Interesting entry on the Seattle Police Dept. restoring classic cruisers:
http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2014...-restored.html Then found their website. The Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum: http://seametropolicemuseum.org/cars.html I always love seeing old police cruisers at car shows!

Every Car Has A Story
Curbsideclassic.com - Every car has a story.
This site lets people take pictures of cars and then write about what they remember about those models or what they found interesting about them. I like this one about a kid riding in the back of his father's black 1962 Fairlane in the summertime on a trip to New York. With no air conditioning and the windows rolled up while sitting on plastic seat covers. The poor kid. Niedermeyer-cars-001-Fairlan-3-1964.jpg See: http://www.curbsideclassic.com/curbs...e-destination/ Here is one that calls Falcons the #1 classic car for hipsters. Danged hippies. They should cut their hair and get a job. See: http://www.curbsideclassic.com/curbs...mong-hipsters/

I'll have to put Curbside Classics on my list. They have a really good article on the Falcon platform up to the Versailles. Nice resource.
