    Rakers Port Townsend show

So I'll try this one more time. Saturday June 28th is the annual Rakers car show. This is usually a pretty good one for us on this side. Close to two hundred cars at this one and a group usually comes in from Canada.
So I spoke to the authorities in the club and have secured their permission to set up powder coat booth and we can line up all our falcons in a row along with that. Also we can put-up our club info and mini regional show stuff.
The show is $15 advanced and $20 at the gate. Trophys raffle, and food vendors in place. Also a very very cool car and memorabilia shop within a block of the show.
If any of you are interested let me know so i can make sure we have enough room.

It's official. I'm going to be in PT, and will show up with the blue '63, sporting Phil's spiffy new paint job.

I agreed to a rafting trip that weekend. If anything changes, I'll consider it. Not sure I'll have the Ranchero together and aligned by them. We'll see. Might be with the wagon.

Here's a shot from last year to encourage some of you out of towners.

Don't worry, from the looks of it, it will probably be just you and I as far as falcons go.

Don't get too discouraged. Keep posting shows over there and sooner or later the stars will align so some of us can make it over yonder. I've heard nothing more about the rafting thing, so who knows. I may rally a few to head over.

Well, I'll show up early, so if anyone decides on the night before they want to go, I'll see if I can get us in one spot. Last year a couple of random Falcons showed up from over here somewhere.

Ed I'm probably setting up Friday night, so if there are a few and they let me know I can get us all in one spot. Don the Rakers club president is a friend and customer of mine and I've already set it up with him.

Well no one else showed. It was a good show had about two hundred cars. A bit down from last year. Did get some rain at the end of the show but it was short lived and the sun was back out before I went home.

Last year we filled the whole field about 350 cars this year just over two hundred.

Got called out for work - sorry. Made it just in time for the 10:30 deluge. Good turnout, considering. Was the orange ranchero yours?

It was raining over here on Saturday when I woke up. Besides having kind of a bad week, besides, I looked out the window and just crawled back into bed.

I should have the Ranchero back in one piece pretty soon and will feel better about doing some shows.
