Does any one have a 200 6 laying around from their conversion. Is it taking up space in your garage? I am looking for a running motor I can drop into my Van. Can pay cash or trade out for powder coating services. I do live over in Sequim Wa. But we have club guys back and forth all the time, or I will come and get it. Thanks Steve...

Want to drop a 64 260 v8 in it? I even have a 2 speed automatic you could mate to it.

V8 van would be cool..

a V8 mod for the van is quite the process, requires a little trickery with the dog house and it will need the 240 cross member to mount on. Tack on the exhaust work and a few WIAI's and you end up with another 2 year project in which case you might as well pony up to a 302/C4.

The 200/C4 is one of the best combos in these vans economy/performance and that 62 already has the right setup for it (engine mounts, exhaust, linkage, wiring). Also these vans are lighter than they seem.

There are plenty of posts on squeezing all types of engines in these vans. The Mopar guys take the cake though. I have seen a handfull of A vans & pickups with 440 Hemi's! :WHATTHE: I can't imagine the stress on the unibody. A couple cool ones were a 4cyl Nissan diesel and a 2000's Chevy V6. Another guy took a stock 240 and modified it for fuel injection.

What the hell were they thinking!!! 1 V8 would be plenty....
Nathan thanks for the offer but I am going to stick with a 6 for this one. I am just getting the 3 year delivery project going with the 5.0 EFI motor in it. Now I am looking to make a little economy vehicle out of this one. Plus I don't think I can afford another 3 year project.
I have a couple of guys with older fords over here and I will ask if they are looking for that combo.. Thanks Steve

The 260 is a rebuildable core. I was playing with 302 crank and rods and have a stroked 260 that if i ever get some extra coin i'll finish.
i plan on installing a stock efi set up on it.

Should be fun if i ever finish it... and find something to install it in.

The fordomatic is out of my sprint and is useable as is..
