I need help trouble shooting my wipers on my 63 Ranchero. It has a two speed system and I can't get it to work.
I have removed the wiper motor so that I can test it. Before I do this, I need help with how to go about testing the motor to see if it is working or not. What is the best way to trouble shoot the windshield wiper motor?

Do you have a power probe?? I use that to test mine. It works the best because it has a fuse in the tester so you won't fry the motor by testing the different wires..
I put the ground from the tester onto the housing of the motor and then ran power to the different wires and determined which wire was the slow speed and which was the faster speed.
I'm sure Patrick or Roger will chime in here as well, they both have some good knowledge when it come to this type of stuff as well..

I have not found any power source to the wiper motor, checked and replaced fuses. Still nothing. So I wanted to bench test the motor. But would like some help with how to test it. Again it is a two speed wiper motor. Thank you
