Spook Hill is in Lake Wales and is about 60 miles east of where I live in Tampa. See: http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2058

Here is the explanation:
2908

The hill can be seen in the background. It has a dip at the white line which is at the base of the hill where the shape of the dip causes a car to roll backwards and look like it is rolling up hill.

I parked "The Wonder Falcon" on the line, put it in neutral, and ... it rolled backwards and uphill! Spooky!

Spooky hill, nice car. I've seen that on TV somewhere before I think.

There is another spot that I visited in Missouri that has the same type hill. It does defy the senses. Nice car and thanks for the post. Larry

People have actually checked these with a level and they are not in-fact going down hill? That would be too weird otherwise.

It is kind of weird. When you park your car on the white line, there is a slight downhill slope for a few feet before it starts to slope uphill. But when you put the car in neutral and lift your foot off the brake, there is nothing subtle about your rolling backwards. You start rolling backwards at a good clip and go way beyond the obvious initial downhill slope. You really do go rolling uphill a way. I went with my father and a neighbor of ours to this place back in the 1960's and had been curious to see it again. It was definitely worth going to.
