Membership Discount

Hi-

It seems that a number of individuals have their favorite company for chrome, upholstery, body work, paint, etc.

Knowing that word of mouth is a very powerful form of advertising I was just wondering if the club ever thought about approaching selected shops and setting up a referral system that would allow for discounts from list pricing?

The system could also be listed as a benefit of club membership. (BTW I’d like to officially join the club!) If it has not been suggested before and people think it has merit, I would be happy to brainstorm the idea with others. I think we could draft a form letter and mail it out to the club's 'favorite' list of suppliers and service providers.

I just joined the forums but I think that's a great idea. I belonged to a Thunderbird club for a while and you could get all kinds of discounts as a member.
