I converted an original ‘61 Falcon Futura to a V8 and updated suspension… and need to Sell everything removed during the conversion. The car had approx. 75k miles on the odometer.
I went thru and upgraded all the mechanicals on the car and drove it several months with the 6 cylinder prior to starting the engine conversion. I had zero problems.
I would prefer selling everything removed as a package... and that is the way it’s priced. If I don’t get any interest in taking it as a package, I may price things individually.
170 cu in 6 cylinder – Appears to be previously rebuilt with upgraded exhaust manifold. It has a new fuel pump and distributor. I also rebuilt the Holley carb and replaced the generator with a single wire alternator.
2-Speed Automatic – Shifts great, clean fluid… possibly rebuilt as well.
Radiator – Excellent shape. No leaks. Also looks like it has been replaced sometime more recently.
Rear end – 3.55 gears. No noise or leaks. Complete with brakes and leaf springs.
Complete serviceable single exhaust system.
Front steering, brakes and suspension – would need a complete rebuild (i.e., bushings, ball joints, etc.).
4 Lug Wheels and tires – Wheels good but tires need to be replaced.
Lots of Misc Included - Parking brake cable, motor mounts, linkage, etc.
The only exceptions are the front coil springs and drive shaft… they were used in the swap.
Asking $650 for everything.
