I am restoring a 63 Futura convertible. I have pulled the engine (289 with 260 heads) and transmission (original 2-speed auto) and was wondering if I should just scrap them or if there is a market for these parts.

Definitely a market for them. Post them here in the for sale section and visit FFOG on face book. Lots of guys on there doing original type resto's.
What condition are the parts in??

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

As far as i can see the heads are original 63. Ditto for the exhaust manifolds. the engine block (5 bolt 65 289) and intake (77 2bbl) have been changed so I suspect the heads have been rebuilt at least once. I started the engine prior to disassembly to check function. Also had good compression test on the engine all the way around. The transmission is original. I cannot tell if it has been rebuilt and I have no idea when it was last driven.

Location can also determine value. How many around you might need it and how far do they have to travel. Where are you located, roughly?
